Gina es la peluquera estrella en un elegante salón de belleza cuyo jefe es el egocéntrico Jorge (Kevin Bacon).

Harta de Jorge hasta el flequillo, Gina decide irse y abrir su propio salón.

Se lleva como herencia un grupo de peluqueros muy dogmáticos, una pintoresca clientela y un vecino muy sexy.

Con ellos Gina demuestra que no es fácil subyugar a una mujer y que no puedes imponer tu voluntad en un salón lleno de extravagantes mujeres..
