Synopsis

Sam Parett, un niño de nueve años, muere en un accidente de avión.

Han pasado catorce meses desde el accidente, pero su madre, Telly (Julianne Moore), no se resigna a creer en la muerte de su hijo.

De repente, su marido (Anthony Edwards) jura que nunca tuvieron un hijo, y su psiquiatra (Gary Sinise) insiste en que se engaña a sí misma.
