Se llama vestigio genético.

Pero en el caso de Gibson está activado.
Mulder: Si fuera cierto, significaría que Gibson es extraterrestre.

Los agentes Mulder y Scully regresan de la Antártica para descubrir que su historia de virus mortales, naves espaciales alienígenas y posterior escapada no es creída, siendo destituidos de los Expedientes X, que ahora quedan en manos de Jeffrey Spender y Diana Fowley.
