Película que abarca la larga trayectoria como personaje político del presidente francés Jacques Chirac - cerca de 40 años de carrera - a través de una selección de imágenes que nos muestran su vida pública y privada.

Construida a base de un elaborado trabajo de búsqueda y eludiendo en todo momento el concepto biográfico, los realizadores Karl Zéro y Michel Royer nos divierten con su mirada sarcástica alrededor de la personalidad de Chirac, mediante una voz narradora que imita la voz del presidente mientras éste muestra sus supuestas ansias por aparecer atractivo, su debilidad por repartir besos con facilidad o la reiteración de sus palabras favoritas.

Durante este singular recorrido, reviviremos un encuentro con el Papa Juan Pablo II, un elocuente beso a la famosa cantante y actriz norteamericana Madonna o la efusiva celebración del Mundial de Fútbol conquistado por la selección francesa en 1998, entre otros muchos capítulos de su agitada agenda.

Con poco menos de 90 minutos, somos testigos de la vida profesional y personal, de uno de los políticos más carismáticos del viejo continente, pero siempre desde una óptica simpática e irónica.
