Synopsis

Edimburgo, año 1831. un joven estudiante de medicina, Donald Fettes, llega a la mansión del doctor MacFarlane, un prestigioso cirujano y profesor, para servirle como ayudante en sus experimentos.

El siniestro John Gray, "El cochero", es quien le sirve clandestinamente al médico los cadáveres que utiliza en sus investigaciones y clases, cadáveres frescos llegados del saqueo de tumbas del cercano cementerio.
