En esta aventura futurista, Melanie Griffith es una encantadora e imperturbable cazadora de recompensas encargada de localizar una réplica cibernética para la esposa cortocircuitada de un multimillonario.
Cuando Sam Treadwell (David Andrews, El club de la lucha), un hombre de negocios de gran éxito, descubre que a su esposa androide modelo Cherry 2000 (Pamela Gidley, The Maze) se le han fundido los plomos, contrata a la sexy cazarrecompensas E.
